About Me.

Born in Seoul, Korea, I immigrated to Canada with my family at the age of seven. Adjusting to a foreign country without knowing a single word of English was challenging. Fortunately, I met amazing teachers, friends, and colleagues who supported me, helping me adjust well to my new life. This support ultimately allowed me to successfully become a pharmacist.

After gaining numerous years of experience working in both corporate and specialty pharmacies, I sought a new challenge where I could utilize my knowledge to its full potential and better serve my community. This led me to team up with my brother (who is also a pharmacist) to open our own pharmacy, Healing Pharmacy.

Growing up, I turned to art for solace during times of hardship. This passion has inspired me to champion art therapy as a powerful remedy for pain and stress—sometimes even more effective than medications. By weaving art therapy into my practice, I aim to offer a deeper level of support, helping individuals heal in a holistic way.

How I can help?

Working as a pharmacist has shown me that no one is immune to the possibility of getting caught in a vicious cycle of physical, emotional, and mental pain when faced with difficulties. My interactions with people from all walks of life have revealed how suffering can leave us feeling isolated and vulnerable.

Central to my therapeutic approach is a person-centered philosophy, recognizing clients as the authorities in their own lives. If you're drawn to the idea of taking the reins in your healing journey, of setting your own goals and crafting your unique path forward, then you're exactly the kind of person I'm here to support. And in my group art therapy sessions, it's all about fostering connections, about sharing experiences and finding solace in the understanding of others.

Your journey is unique, and I'm here to walk alongside you, offering personalized care and unwavering support at every step.

Special Area of Focus.

In 2023, I endured what would become the most physically and emotionally taxing period of my life. Experiencing recurrent miscarriages within a short span turned my world upside down, shedding light on the silent struggles many women face and the shortcomings within our medical support systems.

Drawing from my own journey and knowledge as a pharmacist, I bring a profound understanding of medications and their impact on fertility. Furthermore, my training in art therapy equips me with creative and holistic tools to address the intricate emotional and psychological dimensions of fertility challenges.

My commitment lies in supporting women on their individual fertility paths, offering tailored care and unwavering support at every turn. I am dedicated to providing a compassionate and personalized approach, recognizing the unique needs and experiences of each woman I have the privilege to assist.
